Group workshop at Gospel Rising 2019

Gospel Rising Music Festival 5th-7th June 2020, Dublin
All Hallows DCU College Accommodation, Workshops all on-campus & Super Soul Sunday Gospel Gigs in Mountjoy Sq.

The Gospel Rising Music Festival is on the planning mission once again, like probably most singing groups this time of year, we are looking at the calendars, the diaries, the feedback, the options! So many ideas, so much we can do!

While we are planning away to give something a little different from our usual format for year ELEVEN, take out the pens and get the weekend of the 5th-7th June 2020 in the calendar, write it into your own diary and if you’re in a choir, please get it into your schedule for the year ahead! Ticket & Workshop Booking with be open in February.
Indeed it’s a different weekend than usual for us, but that means it gives us new opportunities! Ah, Fun! Scary!

We are back in Dublin, but this time we are bringing you our first festival camp! We’re still holding onto all our festival vibes but focusing on making it a real summer camp feel, bringing you all of your Gospel Music Workshops & Accommodation under one roof. Focusing the festival hub in the stunning grounds of the All Hallows DCU College campus in Drumcondra will make running between your workshops super easy. Don’t worry there are plenty of pubs just outside the gate and this year we are focusing on bringing you some new and exciting social events to keep you all singing and mingling well into the night!
We are also really excited about growing our Super Soul Sunday event in Mountjoy Sq Park (just a 10 minute hop down the road from All Hallows) to bring a real Festival Event on the Sunday of GR, showing Dublin just how amazing the Gospel Choirs of Ireland really are.
The Gospel Rising Music Festival might be a little different this year, but for those who have been a few times, this is what you’ve been waiting for!!

Accommodation Booking
This year we have already organised your accommodation for you! The DCU campus is allowing us all to stay together across 2 campus houses with breakfast included, and lunch available. All workshops will be on the All Hallows campus with social activities just a 10 min walk away in Drumcondra.
