Festival 2020

Festival 2020 is cancelled due to the ongoing fight against coronavirus. See our update here.

June 2020 sees us back in Dublin for the 11th annual Gospel Rising Music Festival. Every year, we grow and evolve the festival programme based on your feedback and to try out some new, fresh ideas. 2020 is no different!

The core of the festival remains similar with a mixture of workshops and performances from Friday to Sunday but there’s a few twists on the way.

What’s new for 2020?

Aside from the new date, our next biggest change for 2020 is hosting all Saturday workshops at one address. All Hallows is part of Dublin City University, a beautiful campus that will host the full program of workshops on the Saturday of the festival.

Not only that, accommodation is also available directly on site at All Hallows from just €55 per person per night sharing. Booking is now open and you can find full details of how to reserve your accommodation here.

Instead of a Saturday night concert, all the Gospel Choir performances will be on the Sunday on a big choir stage at our Super Soul Sunday Outdoor Gospel Concert in Mountjoy Sq Park, featuring performances from the fantastic choirs attending the festival on the main stage for 1pm – 5pm on Sunday the 7th June.

Saturday Night will have something different, instead of our usual gospel music concert we will host our new Gospel Rising Music Game Show. This will be a great night of entertainment and a chance to socialise with all your fellow festival attendees. There will also still be plenty of opportunities to sing along to some great gospel choir classics…..you’ll just have to go to find out why!

When are tickets on sale?
