The happy crowd at the opening group workshop at Gospel Rising Music Festival 2019

We can hardly believe it too but YES, tickets are on sale for the Gospel Rising Music Festival 2022! HQ for our 11th annual festival will be DCU All Hallows‘ campus in Drumcondra, Dublin – a beautiful central space that will host all of our singing and choral workshops on Friday and Saturday.

Whether you’ve attended the festival before or not, you’re part of a choir or just love to sing in the shower, there’s a hearty welcome and a space for you at this festival!

So what’s happening this year?

We have listened to your feedback and this year we are centralising all our workshops to ONE location, the beautiful DCU All Hallows‘ campus in Drumcondra. Not only will all workshops be within a song’s distance of each other but you can also stay ON CAMPUS so you never miss a beat of the action!

Think ‘the most awesome summer camp for gospel choirs and singers‘ and you’ve got it!

Drumcondra is one of Dublin’s fantastic “villages near town”, packed with restaurants and bars, plenty of accommodation, close to public transport and only minutes from the city centre. We think you’ll love it.

Friday – welcome & warm-up

Kicking off on Friday evening, we will welcome you to DCU All Hallows and after you’ve freshened up we’ll dive into the singing with the Festival Kick-off Workshop at 8pm followed by a trip to a carefully selected local spot to chat and no doubt keep the tunes flowing.

Saturday – workshop day

On Saturday from 9am to 5.15pm, you’ll have your three singing workshops chosen by you taking place around DCU All Hallows campus. You can choose from a mix of soloist, small group and choral or opt for our full-day intensive workshop where you get to work with one facilitator and fellow attendees for the entire day.

On Saturday night, we’re headed to the gorgeous Sugar Club in the city centre for ‘Know Your Lyrics?!‘, an interactive singing and musical gameshow inspired by one of the best to hit Ireland’s TV screens in the 90s! After you’re done singing your socks off, our merry volunteers will “pied piper” you onwards to keep the party going in Dublin’s City Centre.
