Workshops
Workshops are a core element of the festival, offering singers of all levels the chance to upskill, to collaborate with others and introduce gospel-style singing and performance to newcomers. Let’s Sing Gospel with Audrey Mattis (UK) is a group singing workshop, the perfect way to start the day and immerse yourself into the very core of what it means to make that unmistakable gospel sound. Come on your own or bring a gang! Tickets are €20 via Eventbrite.
If you booked a festival weekend pass prior to May 14th, you should have received an email with a promo code for your complementary workshop pass. If you didn’t receive this, or need assistance please contact bookings@gospelrising.com.
Dementia touches the lives of many people across Ireland and the world every day. This year, we are placing some focus on living with dementia with our Dementia-inclusive Programme which includes a singing workshop ‘An Introduction to Gospel Music‘ and a live performance on the main stage by the Forget Me Nots choir. Find out more about the workshop and how to book in advance here.
*Note: Advance booking is required. For bookings or queries please contact our Dementia Inclusion Programme Lead, Sarah O’Farrell, for more details at sarah@gospelrising.com.
Super Soul Sunday – free live concert at Mountjoy Square Park
We had such a blast here in 2019, we’re bringing Super Soul Sunday back with an even bigger stage and even more choirs! The outdoor concert is free and open to the public and will feature live performances from some of Ireland’s finest gospel choirs, food trucks by Irish Village Markets and children’s entertainment all day.
Bring your picnic blanket and make a day of it in north Dublin city centre’s beautiful Georgian garden from 12:30pm to 6pm. No tickets required!
